TODAY I FINALLY WATCHED 50/50, AND ALL IS RIGHT IN THE WORLD AGAIN.
I don't think it's possible to reiterate any more just how much I adore JGL, but here you go: what an amazing, amazing actor. His performance was understated, yet unwavering, his pain so palpable even in just the slightest fall in his face. GARGHALKSDJFH. There was this one scene where [SPOILER] the doctor tells him that his chemotherapy treatments aren't working and he'd have to go for high-risk surgery. OH. MY. GOD. WITH JUST A DROP OF HIS BROW I WANTED TO CRY MY EYES OUT. So, so painful. :`( Yeah obviously I was weeping (silently) in the cinema. Thank god for dark cinemas that's all I can say.
And then there were all those amazing closeup shots of his pretty little dimply face, especially that one last scene where it's just him smiling at the camera with all of his dimples. THANK YOU GOD. CAMERAMAN SURE KNOWS WHAT'S WORTH THE MONEY. AND LOOK AT HOW CUTE HE IS EVEN WHEN BALD LIKE AN ALIEN.

Okay okay no more election talk (FUCK YEAH ALJUNIED! And not too bad, Marine Parade. So recently, much to the dismay of my wallet, I've decided that I simply just don't have enough acceptable clothes. ie. clothes that are not from online blogshops. Therefore, instead of buying weekly from them, I'm going to cut all of online blogshopping out (or try to), and buy biweekly from physical stores :D or at least from online retailers that don't mass produce 2349827394 pieces to be sold in Singapore.

And I think it's going pretty well so far! Two dresses from ASOS for only 70 bucks, and one from Miss Selfridge for 79! The most important thing is, I'm not going to run into the owners of the blogshop whose clothes I'm wearing at some event okay? (long story, don't feel like repeating etc etc)

This may come as a complete shock, but I have seriously have no interest in fashion at all.

Oh and also today marks the 3rd time some relative asked whether I've lost weight/am on a diet. Well what do you know, apparently having media tastings every other day + REALLY late lunches is agreeing with me. AND NO, I DON'T THINK I'VE LOST WEIGHT. IT'S AN ILLUSION. I'M GOOD AT PICKING CLOTHES. That is all.

Okay let me rephrase that. I love clothes, I love wearing things that make me look good, but I have no interest in the history, the mechanics, the intricacies nitty gritty little stuff about high fashion. I don't care about the evolution/revolution/whatthefuckever about high fashion, don't give a shit about trends, and least of all, I HAVE NO INTEREST IN WRITING ABOUT FASHION. God, how many times can I use "clean lines and classic structures"?! And there are only that many pretentious french phrases (joie de vivre LOL I DONT EVEN REALLY KNOW WHAT IT MEANS ANYMORE) I can throw in before I exhaust my entire vocabulary.

It's been 6 long years but I have to finally bid farewell to my ex-salon that is Mode. It was nice knowing you, having to pay only 10 bucks (8 bucks when I was in school) each time, and having you butcher my hair only about 30% of the time. But I've been introduced to far better things now, and even if I have to scrimp and save just so I can afford that haircut every 3 months, I'm going to do it, because, how do I put this simply, THEY DON'T BUTCHER MY HAIR. And that's to put it mildly.
ALSO BECAUSE I HAVEN'T POSTED A PICTURE OF HIM IN AGES.
Hello Kim Robinson. I know it's going to be a pain in the ass trying to afford you each time, but so long you don't disappoint me (and you really shouldn't, seeing how much you cost), I'll be loyal to the end of time and once I'm loyal, I'm loyal. This could be the start of a long and beautiful relationship :`)
Today, my hair costs about as much as that 6 years worth of haircut. And it feels amazing. And hey what do you know, it seems like I'm more suited for short(ish) hair.
Oh and yes, Rocky Horror was incredible. LOVE LOVE LOVE ♥ Still wished I could have watched it in the UK or US, which would have been hella more fun.

It was an absolutely glorious Saturday morning (it was raining, I could sleep in etc etc) until I got woken up by the phone ringing insistently. And because whoever was on the line seemed pretty determined to wake everyone in the house up I had to go answer the phone. Turns out it was my mom's friend.

And now I'm tired as hell but I can't fall back to sleep. THANKS A LOT, WOMAN.
