very oddly, pictures seem to downplay his looks by 50%.

1. well duh, personal hygiene is definitely a MUST?
2. and of course gentlemen are always greatly appreciated :)
3. nice build + height
nice height: i realised i have more leeway for height nowadays. 174-5 onwards is good enough, and i'm capping it at 181cm. anything more than that is a strain to my neck and bad for my posture and I DO NOT APPRECIATE IT. somemore i look like a friggin' dwarf. no thanks. hahaha.
nice build: yeah, just don't look skinnier than me. heehee.4. long slender fingersdon't care.
5. intellectual/shy
intellectual: oh HELL YEAH. i have a thing for guys who are good at quantitative stuff, so guys in accountancy, banking, engineering, sciences etc. for me please. ;) can't deal with guys who are arty farty. haha.

11. well-dressed/groomed guys.
severe lack of 'em in NBS, apparently. for some weird reason.
please don't turn up in your singlet and berms and slippers which are things you were obviously wearing in your hall room. shows a lack of respect towards other people, i should think.
a well-dressed dude is such a rare gem!
12. guys who can articulate properly and present themselves REASONABLY well.
i don't need a guy who's a fantastic presenter (in fact, wary of such people. silver-tongued. hahah) just somebody who can SPEAK PROPERLY such that he is universally understood.
13. nice deep CLEAR voices ;)
clear, being the operative word.
if i take eons to understand you, it's just plain annoying.
14. cheena-fied guys who watch english shows.

destination!Lawmakers seized the opportunity presented by a congressional committee hearing on the troubled bailout program to grill eight bank CEOs and vent rising public anger over the economic crisis.
Questions abound about what the banks have done with the money, given an ongoing credit crisis that has added to the country's deteriorating economy. The hearing came a day after Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner failed to inspire market confidence over the government's financial bailout plans and sent stock markets plunging.

"We have a hard-earned reputation for frugality, not extravagance," said Ken Lewis, CEO of Bank of America. "Taxpayers have invested in our company, and they deserve to know what return they are making on their investment and when it will be paid back."
Toward that end, Lewis said, he and other top bank managers went without bonuses for 2008, while less-senior executives had their 2008 incentive payments cut by an average of 80 percent.
The chief executives each read a prepared statement arguing that their institutions used taxpayer funds responsibly.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - - Merrill Lynch quietly paid out at least one million dollars bonus each to about 700 top executive even when the investment house was bleeding with losses last year, a probe has revealed.
They were part of 3.6 billion dollars in the firm's bonus payments in December before the announcement of its fourth quarterly losses and takeover by Bank of America, the investigation by the New York state Attorney General's office showed.
.
.
.
"Merrill Lynch's decision to secretly and prematurely award approximately 3.6 billion dollars in bonuses, and Bank of America's apparent complicity in it, raise serious and disturbing questions," he said.
.
.
Former Merrill Lynch chief executive John Thain, Bank of America chief administrative officer J. Steele Alphin and other top executives have been summoned to provide testimony in the probe.
"One disturbing question that must be answered is whether Merrill Lynch and Bank of America timed the bonuses in such a way as to force taxpayers to pay for them through the deal funding," Cuomo said.
UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE.
craig ferguson (on obama's cap of wall street CEOs' salaries at 500k a year): "for most of these wall street clowns, 500k is a huge paycut. some of these people were making hundreds of millions every year. they say that these huge salaries were justified because it took alot of hard work to drive these magnificent companies into the ground. but, these aren't just run of the mill executives we're talking about, these guys are the creme of the crap, and they may have a point! because aaaaaaaaaaaaaanybody can make stupid decisions and reduce a bank's capital to zero, but it takes a real genius to go past zero and end up billions of dollars in debt!"
jon stewart (on wall street's negative response towards the 1trillion dollar bailout): "let me get this straight. wall street doesn't like the particulars of the bailout, of wall street. oh you don't like the particulars of how the trillion dollars would be distributed to YOU. the trillion dollars we're giving you to replace the, oh, i don't know, the trillion or so dollars you lost. let me briefly explain to you the rescuer-rescuee relationship. YOU, my friends, are in the drowning position, so i would suggest, you don't complain about whether or not you get a window seat on the rescue boat. 'cos by the way, what the f*** are you doing in the water anyway?! you know, you are not innocent victims of a geese driveby, you're the dick that thinks it's funny to go parasailing during a hurricane, and the thing about guys like these? they never have insurance."
sean!
yes, the world is very small. spot the two dunman people behind. hahah.
HAHAHA man this picture is HILARIOUS. sean took it at the very moment when a ghost popped up into the screen and we were all screaming. i was obviously hiding behind all of them. hahaha. now, don't think that this is the actual lighting of the room

cny eve. dinner unfortunately wasn't at my aunt's lovely house as per tradition but instead at some dingy seafood restaurant near vivo. alright no complaints about the food. and then it was countdown at another aunt's newly renovated house. you will not believe what renovations can do to a supposedly run down flat in tanglin. it looks like a friggin' condo apartment!
cny day 1 dinner at my house. home made yu sheng + sharks' fin. YUMMM. look at the kickass-sized abalone from the picture above!

wednesday was jj's belated birthday dinner at where-else-but-nihon-mura-and-cartel
we forgot to take pictures inside so we had to resort to taking one outside haha
5. i watch way too much hollywood crap for my own good. i have, on average, 7-8 shows to catch up on every week and that's not counting all the talk shows. and i'm constantly on the lookout for new and interesting shows to watch on days when there are no new updates on the shows i'm following
6. case in point example 1: i've watched all the seasons of Friends at least 6 times, and seasons 6-10 at least 10 times. it's the best damn sitcom of all time and it never ever gets old! i still laugh my head off even though i can probably recite the dialogue along with the characters
7. case in point example 2: i watched all nine seasons of CSI in two months. woohoo
8. and as a result of all these watching, my body clock has come to recognise 3am as normal bedtime.
very nice right? i wanna buy!
i am not cattle. i will not travel like this.
14. gimme dark haired, dark eyed hunks like jake gyllenhaal and christian bale over your typical blond hair blue eyed guys like brad pitt and chad michael murray, any day!
behold, the Plagariser (luckily cannot see his face)
24. i have zero tolerance for people who have bad english and blog like they're directly translating whatever they want to say from chinese into english. jingying and i like to laugh at the blog of this particular person because her command of english is hilarious
