I AM BORED! so i shall take a break from The Mentalist and do this:

yes i am very free. but life's cruel. when i'm very free, i can't get a job. harhar the little ironies of life.

TURN ON LIST 2007

1. well duh, personal hygiene is definitely a MUST?

2. and of course gentlemen are always greatly appreciated :)

3. nice build + height

nice height: i realised i have more leeway for height nowadays. 174-5 onwards is good enough, and i'm capping it at 181cm. anything more than that is a strain to my neck and bad for my posture and I DO NOT APPRECIATE IT. somemore i look like a friggin' dwarf. no thanks. hahaha.
nice build: yeah, just don't look skinnier than me. heehee.

4. long slender fingers don't care.

5. intellectual/shy
intellectual: oh HELL YEAH. i have a thing for guys who are good at quantitative stuff, so guys in accountancy, banking, engineering, sciences etc. for me please. ;) can't deal with guys who are arty farty. haha.
shy: COMPLETELY ENDEARING. oh my. shyness can be so charming yes?

6. musical don't need.

7. good sense of humour
.
must be of similar wavelength of course

8. lovely smile.
STILL such a MAJOR factor! i'm thoroughly charmed by guys with wide lovely smiles and small smiley eyes! yes, soft spot for small eyes! goshdarn cute!

9. fantastic singer rare. so i don't care.

10. dimples. as a bonus!

and new stuff

11. well-dressed/groomed guys.
severe lack of 'em in NBS, apparently. for some weird reason.
please don't turn up in your singlet and berms and slippers which are things you were obviously wearing in your hall room. shows a lack of respect towards other people, i should think.
a well-dressed dude is such a rare gem!

12. guys who can articulate properly and present themselves REASONABLY well.
i don't need a guy who's a fantastic presenter (in fact, wary of such people. silver-tongued. hahah) just somebody who can SPEAK PROPERLY such that he is universally understood.

13. nice deep CLEAR voices ;)
clear, being the operative word.
if i take eons to understand you, it's just plain annoying.

14. cheena-fied guys who watch english shows.
already win halfway. hahaha.

TURN ON LIST 2008-09

1. guys who smell good are ALWAYS a turn on

2. gentlemanly guys: immediately add 10 points.
what constitutes as gentlemanly? well, let's just say if you can't even do basic stuff like open the damn door for girls to enter/exit first, then you should just go kill yourself. we're not picky. that's all we ask for. bonus stuff would include: offering to carry heavy stuff (mol once offered to carry my handbag for me. and i'm using this as a positive example although at that point of time i glared at him and told him that guys are not allowed to carry their female friends/gfs handbags), offering to send us home (don't worry, we won't expect you to actually carry it out. the offer itself is appreciated enough) if not, ask us to drop you a sms when we reach home; letting us have the inside seat on the bus, letting us walk on the side of the sidewalk that is NOT next to the road etc etc ok you get my drift.

3. nice build+height
still stands: 175-181cm
please don't look skinnier than girls. that's just scary

4. intellectual/shy
intellectual: YES PLEASE. bonus points if you're in accountancy/banking/engineering/deanslistHAHA
BUT.. minus points if all you do is study and have no life. intellectual does not = mugger
shy: always endearing! but please do not go overboard and become boring

5. hilarious
now i'm going to go one level up from good sense of humour to actually being HILARIOUS. HAHA. because i've realised that having a good sense of humour and being hilarious can be mutually exclusive sometimes.

now sometime ago, some of us had a conversation about a similar topic as this, and one friend said that all she looked for in a guy was that "he made her laugh". and at that point of time i thought to myself that i would never be able to live with just that. because yes i can be horribly superficial and yesishouldjustgokillmyselfforthat (okok must at least be 顺眼 lar!). but recently i've come to realise that yes, some people can be just so funny and entertaining and their company can be just so enjoyable that you can overlook lots of things that you used to think that you would never be able to overlook. so YEAH. that was quite a paragraph of crap.

6. if you've got that pretty smile, i'm sold
if you got braces i add 20 pts. i'm so biased. HAHAHAHA.

7. well-dressed/groomed guys
well evidently that's quite rare, so i'm not going to care. girls like to play dressup anyway so we can do it for you ourselves. HA HA

8. charming
sorry i can't explain charm for you. you're either born with it or you're not. you can be a looker but not a charmer. and vice versa. i know guys who are so charming that i'm dazzled even though they're no lookers. HAHA. and similarly, i've been completely put to sleep by lookers.

9. guys who have a healthy mix of the angmoh and cheena cultures
either extreme is a big turnoff, although i am more forgiving towards guys who watch too much angmoh shows. 'cos i think seriously, nobody can beat me.
guys who follow (follow ah, not watch. i can forgive the occasional mistakes) taiwanese idol/korean dramas are a even bigger turnoff. THOSE ARE FOR GIRLS, NOT YOU, YOU PANSY.
if you watch HK dramas, add 20 pts. the biasedness is talking.

10. good grammar+language on MSN
you have no idea HOW RARE THIS IS. it seems that properly structured english sentences are impossible for some. please don't use words like lolx, lorz. ARE YOU AN AH LIAN? whats the point of adding 'z', 's', 'x' to the end of words?! and really, what's with ending your sentences with this ~~~~. WTF! and ease up on the emoticons buddy! i don't like having to click on that dancing animal to interpret what the heck you are trying to say!

11. bespectacled guys
because you look like you fulfil #4

12. good with kids
self-explanatory. HAHA.
