usually i don't have an issue. i'm quite okay with listening to people talk.
but when it's waaaaaaay too much, i just want to yell "for gods' sake that's enough!!"
oh that, and the lack of tact is quite amazing too.
-roar of frustration-
luckily the character is still relatively good. if not i'd have pulled all my hair out.
anyway, there's something quite addictive about being a mugger :)
doing tutorials ahead of time, actually bothering to revise the notes after the lecture, studying for the accounting quiz which didnt happen in the end. (i actually did study! much unlike what i did for stats last sem. maybe then i wouldn't have gotten that embarrassing grade - deadpans- yeah, like my not doing of half the paper didnt contribute haha)
only drawback of course, is that by the time the tutorial actually comes around, i've already forgotten my answers.
but never mind! perservere i shall. it does feel good to be hardworking.
and for my weekly grousing about biz law tutorials, i seriously have a problem with my biz law tutor, as you all know.
i cannot stand it when she comes up with one stand, states lots of points to support it, then gives another stand, stating lots of points to support that, then coming up with points who came from god knows where - by this time i've already lost track of all the points and i've forgotten which side she's taking. THEN SHE COMES TO NO CONCLUSION. ARGH!!
the biz law lecturer makes me like biz law, and then this woman has to come along. :(
but i had nothing to complain about electives today. haha man, it was another of its ultra short sessions of only 1 hour. and even though it was boring (as usual), jiayin and i were entertaining ourselves with BINGO. haha!
and afterwards we hopped over to yuexin's bio in popular media. and we were lucky enough to be able to catch the awesome movie Gattaca! i loved that movie when mr chew first showed it during one of the GP lessons. great storyline and of course, gorgeous actors, ethan hawke and jude law! :) (though i thought that ethan hawke actually looked better in the show heh)
after the class i caught a ride home with yuexin and cousin. and honestly speaking, i always look forward to these rides because we would always end up laughing our heads off for one lame reason or another. yay for dunmanians!
remember a couple of entries back i mentioned the story of a small world? (jingying's nus good friend is my nbs friend's best friend)
haha yes another venn diagram, but this time much more pleasing to the eye. (the previous time i drew it was when we celebrated seah's birthday with the xyz guys and vj jrs.)
well last friday we actually took the time (eh. they took the time. i made time by skipping comm management -grins) to meet up and went for a round of board games at Mind Cafe. and it was, for a lack of better adjectives, FUN!
like i always say, once there's no language barrier, the possibility of clicking with one another would definitely be quite high (and of course there would be exceptions but that's not the case here).
haha it's just so cute isn't it. the idea of coming together to meet simply because we're all linked to one another in different ways.
hopefully we would be having more such crazy afternoons :)

wanyier!
yuexin and her cool new haircut!
mj attempted to make it look like i have my hand around his arm BUT FAILED. HAHAHA.
