sigh.

i am so tired.

luckily tomorrow i have no plans. that would equate to a day of nua-ing on my bed with 法证先锋2. lovely thought :)

beginning of 8th week of PA, 15 days to end of it all. horrendously fast as usual.

feels like it's going to be a pretty slack week. i have a meeting on monday morning, and wednesday i'm taking the afternoon off for subject registration.. ok but then again, when am i ever not slack? :)

i'm sorry i didn't know how to appreciate Indian food better, but it was delicious enough. the tandoori chicken rocked! and one good thing about eating at a chi-chi place like this is that you get served by Bollywood-looking waiters. hahaha.

today i'm left all alone in the office, save for another girl. my colleagues have all gone out to a conference, while those not involved are either on leave or having training workshops. hahah i LOVE it. i have nothing to do because there are no new bookings for campaigns, and the work i've been working on is sitting in my colleague's account and she's not here to log in for me. :D so today i will fulfil my promise to myself : LEAVING AT 530. :)

and since working in the telecomm industry (despite being under the media side), i've fully realised the extent of how much Singaporeans like to complain about nothing. IT IS FREAKING ANNOYING AND MAKES ME WANT TO SLAP ALL OF THEM. seriously, you will NOT understand what it feels like to be at the receiving end of all these irate and ridiculous complaints until you've been working in customer service. sure i'm not working in CS right now, but i've (sorta) been when working in DBS, and even now, complaints are forwarded to me so i can chuck all these idiots into the blacklist.

GET A COUPLE OF ADVERTISING SMSES WILL KILL YOU IS IT? you're not being charged, and if you're not interested just delete the bloody thing lar! HELLO IS THE FACT THAT YOU'VE RECEIVED TWO, TWO, OF THESE SMSES THAT YOU'RE SO DISTRAUGHT/IT HAS TAKEN UP SO MUCH OF YOUR PRECIOUS TIME DELETING THEM, THAT YOU ACTUALLY SEE THE NEED TO CALL INTO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HOTLINE, AND THEN STILL SAY YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN TO CASE/IDA YADA YADA? jeez i see where really your time is being channeled to. SINGAPOREANS SHOULD JUST GO GET A LIFE. COMPLAINING ABOUT MINDLESS THINGS IS JUST GOING TO CAUSE YOU MORE GRIEF AND MAKE YOU DIE YOUNGER.

We have seen cases where patients have discussed a horrible experience from 15 to 20 years ago stating, “I though I got over it, I guess I didn’t!” Truthfully, they have gotten over that experience — but the file is still powerful. Depressed individuals suffer from the “garbage truck”, that truck-load of horrible files that prompt them to think about childhood trauma/abuse, previous relationships and rejections, and any time they have failed within recollection. Again, the file makes us relive the emotions at that time. Even 20 years beyond the present, if we bring out a horrible file, we will feel horrible.

anywhooooo. the weekend was a busy busy one. in fact the whole of last week was just madness because i was out from wednesday onwards.

wednesday i watched SATC with ah ber.

thursday was girls' night out @ timbre (whose service sucks, but food rocks.)

friday night with half of the MSes at La Viva. i also fully appreciated the meaning of NUA-ing. boy, can i nua. even outside.

saturday evening was dinner with the vjco com peeps at First Thai @ the bugis area, which can i just say, serves the BEST thai food ever. have you ever had food that made you happy just eating it? well this is a great example. drinks (if you call whiskey in a plastic cup, drinks) @ timbre. i'm really too lazy to elaborate what happened but i will just say that bloody timbre cheated us of our 17 bucks. (WHERE GOT SUCH THING AS BUY TICKETS TO A ROCK EVENT AND NOT BE GURANTEED A SEAT? THIS REEKS OF TRYING-TO-FILL-THE-PLACE-NESS) well safe to say i wont be back to that damn place for any event, whatsoever.

sunday afternoon we had our wii session @ jiayin's house (HOUSE OF THE DEAD ROCKS. i'm starting to think i have a nasty sadistic love for shooting zombies) followed by a makeup birthday dinner (for those people who were either in japan or at angela zhang's concert -.- haha) at Big O, and finally ending the day (and looong week) with a late movie at Vivo.

when mj was on the phone, i realised that there was something sticking out(on) from jit's shirt that didn't quite look in place.
