i'm blogging because i have too many photos and outings to update on and i have to do so before i forget all of 'em.

it was a nice day today!
watched dark knight with seah. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME movie. best movie i've watched so far this year. i can't repeat it enough. movie reviews don't do it justice. just go and watch it alright.


christian bale is OMGGORGEOUS.

oh yes. OMGGORGEOUS

dinner @ billy bombers followed by dessert @ cartel. bumming-around-TM-with-seah sessions have become our back-to-school tradition!

last tues after the stupid tiong butchered my fringe, i went for 2j dinner and i was laughed at :(

drinks at no. 5. 1-for-1 martinis are the best! (and they aren't the diluted variety either!)

last wednesday, with every intention to go to phuture, we ended up at MoS instead. the queue at zouk was pure madness, and at around 10, phuture was full, so we headed over to clarke quay.
we girls went to lunar + arena, grabbed the free lychee martinis and went back to MoS.

alright. too lazy to narrate. main story of the day. seah got really drunk and we were all amused by her. heehee

wahhahahahahhaha.

thursday: dinner @ changing appetites
friday: yuexin accompanied me at the airport while i attempted to start on my PA report. i managed 500 words and was very proud of myself. (because for the past four days all i did at home was start on the cover and content page)
saturday to monday: i bummed around at home and saved alot of money :D
tuesday: gossip session with xinwei (who just came back from HK with goodies for us!)and yuexin at the airport


tomorrow i will bum around some more at home.

i am pathologically lazy i tell you.
i have chronic laziness.
when i don't go out, it only means one thing : i am at home watching (insert show name) and online shopping. that's all.

but of course that's a good thing sometimes. because it means 1. i'm not spending money (erm. on food or transport or any other misc stuff) and 2. i eat minimally. i'm convinced i have an expandable stomach.

well as you know i had quite a great time for my PA. being around the things i love most in the world (TV SHOWS!) + being around people who love the same things i do + minimal work? i must thank ntu's screwed up system for throwing me into phase 3 and allowing me to get this internship man.

yes my career goal is very simple. i just want to be in the industry with things i love. hahaha.

this is karin! my going-home buddy! we run for the 615 bus together and she likes to tell me milo is fattening and laugh at me when i fall asleep on the lunch table. hahaha. yes it has happened more than one time i tell you.

heh. every afternoon i go over to joyce's table (back facing) and i sit there and watch heart of greed. hahaha.

the pretty diane! she's the closest to me in terms of age, so we still can bitch about angmohsai people from our schools! hahaha. we go for meetings together at cuppage and then we erm.. GO BACK TO THE OFFICE STRAIGHTAWAY. (HAHAHA)

heh. i call her mrs kang 'cos she looks like mrs kang no? okay. reminds me of mrs kang at least. well she's definitely ten times nicer than mrs kang that's for sure!

the whole department (more or less, at least) i know my position very awkward. too tall lar. what to do.


the small but cosy office. but it often gets too quiet when the account services people are out :( very lonely.

one hour into MoS, i remember once again why i loved clubbing.

two hours later, when my feet start hurting and the smoke starts getting in my eyes (haha. pun unintended), i remember the reasons for my cannot-be-bothered attitude towards clubbing. too much effort needed and i'm too lazy (and broke)


but then again, that's not to say i'm not up for another ladies night. heehee.

i suddenly feel the gian-ness for another round of RnB!

bloody tiong hairdresser screwed up my hair.
i now look like a freak with non existent fringe.
therefore there would be no more new photos of me.
i will also minimize all human contact until i look.. human again.

oh wtf. i am NEVER going back to that stupid place again.

ok im honestly bone lazy. but i'll update because i already have too many photos.
well so friday marks the end of PA. let's rejoice because there would be no more:
1. waking up at 7
2. having to sleep before 1 because have to wake up at 7
3. squeezing with commuters on the 830 train
4. consuming unhealthy food for lunch/dinner
5. counting down to 6pm everyday
not that i don't like my work of course (what work? haha). i have a great working environment and i enjoy the work i do (again, what work?) but honestly, nothing quite beats the life of being a student.


anyway. last sunday we celebrated william's 20th with dim sum at Dragon Gate (or something) despite scathing reviews of its less than palatable food and bad service. well, we were not people to care because seriously, 20 bucks for all you can eat dim sum buffet? i ain't going to expect high standards of any sort.


and as it turns out, it wasn't ALL THAT bad. some of the dishes were pretty good, but of course there's your absolute pits of a carrot cake. (which made both william and jj spit theirs out. but more on that later) all in all, 20 bucks? can lar.

notice the quality difference. my camera really sucks can. if not for the fact that i'm already buying and ipod i would definitely have gotten myself a new camera. im sick of blurry dark shots!

obligatory food shot. yes the fried stuff tasted like what it looks like - unappealing.

and when the going gets boring, the bored gets camwhoring


and then there was the cake. we tried to make it a "surprise" when william went to the toilet.

oh yeah he sure is surprised. hahaha.

and because we didn't know what to do next (lyd and jj having to leave soon after) seah, william and i went to watch The Strangers. and all i can say is it's the freakiest show i've watched in a long long time. long drawn-out suspense? sorry anymore of shows like these and i think i'll die of heart failure.

dinner was with seah and belinda and colleagues.
drinks afterwards @ no. 5. two martinis for $15? awesome!
