can't quite believe next week would be the last week of school of Year One, and i'm on my way to Year Two in just a few months more. and of course next week's lecture would be the last one i'd be having with all my accountancy friends!!! -wails- okay this is saddening, don't want to think about that right now.

the comm management tutor's insistence on formal wear (and strictly stripes only!) had me on a shopping trip on wednesday to zara at vivocity. lovely material, but there was a severe lack of choice (or maybe i'm just looking at the "for you cheapskates for can't bear to spend more than 75 bucks for a formal shirt" rack.)and after that i hopped over to esprit wanting to get a nice pair of jeans using the 50dollar voucher.
ok basically i ended up paying cash for the jeans because it was already reduced from 70 to 50 and i was too embarrassed to reject it. BLARH. whatever really, 'cos in the end i got a nice top and nice pair of socks using the voucher. hahaha.
oh and there was the cutest and most helpful male assistant at esprit who was most probably, and most unfortunately, gay. how cute? oh seah! he's got "SEAH'S TYPE" written all over him. heehee :) no seriously, bears a striking resemblence to a certain person whom you shouldnt, BY RIGHT, be talking to right now heh.
oh and on the way home, i bumped into funny ol' wesley who was on his way to dhsco's syf rehearsal. okay la, i'm having the occasional bouts of guilt about not seeming to care about it. aye, but i know no juniors and juniors from my own section are just very likely to piss me off badly should i go back. oh yeah, and i have absolutely no flair at trying to teach people. -shrugs- oh well. i guess, the bottomline is: i just cannot be bothered anymore. the last time i went back i didn't know a single junior and i felt like such a damn intruder (and certain people MOST certainly did not help by their behavior)that it pretty much turned me off from going back.

we had a lab session on Skype today during IT, and man, it was the MOST HILARIOUS lesson we ever had. the group of us at the left section of the room, the section i reckoned the tutor has already earmarked for being always talking during his lessons, nearly died laughing using the conference call functions. and later it got even funnier when the guys (typical!) tried to call girls from China and Taiwan. they managed to get through to one in China and Mr BlockHead actually managed to SPEAK to one from Taiwan.

oh my god, my sides nearly split, i tell you.

yay. half of my IT group! Good Friend derek and the very cool shanjing :)

as for comm management's final presentation (oh FINALLY), there was a severe SEVERE lack of time which had me literally rambling incoherently for 4 minutes. i swear i have no recollection what the hell i was talking about, just that i was trying desperately to sound confident, stand still and look happy. okay, the tutor did give an A in the end, but not without first giving the whole "i'm actually reluctant to give you the A, but.. ohhh... okay" tone. heh, i don't care either. :)

comm's tablemates :)

boliao lor. this is what people do when they're not studying for the accounting quiz tomorrow.
shuxian. your friend ah?
and once again instead of studying, i'm watching moulin rouge on youtube for like the thousandth time and weeping all over my keyboard. damn this movie, so bloody depressing and addictive. :(

i think once i have a productive weekend, i have no energy left for anything else on monday.
besides half-heartedly searching information for the final comm management presentation this friday, i've not been doing much of anything else. not even for the stupid accounting quiz on wednesday. yes. ANOTHER ONE. like what yuexin said, "how come you seem to have something to do with accounting every week??". YA LAR. don't like accounting :(

dinner yesterday was interesting because chinyong called all of a sudden when me and seah were about to have dinner at airport to meet him and mj for dinner instead. and of course, since mj had the car, we agreed immediately. haha.
anyway it was an expensive nasi lemak dinner all the way at kent ridge, followed by an aimless drive through town. it was also a night of accidental sms-reading, kaypoh-ness and laughter. :)

Hunk of the Day: josh holloway

otherwise better known as Sawyer, the bad ass who turned out quite lovable in LOST.

one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in 2005. 17th sexiest guy in the world in 2006.

this guy has killer dimples, i tell you. KILLER. when he smiles at the camera you can literally feel your heart melting. heh.

nothing ever stops all these thoughts and the pain attached to them
sometimes i wonder why this is happening
it's like nothing i can do to distract me
and i think of how i shot myself in the back again
'cos from the infinite words i can say that
i put all the pain you gave to me on display
but didn't realise
instead of setting it free
i took what i hated and made it a part of me

and you become a part of me
you'll always be right here
you become a part of me
you'll always be my fear
i can't seperate myself from what i've done
giving up a part of me
i let myself become you

another week has passed. WHERE HAS ALL THE TIME GONE TO? it has already been a week since i last met up with mol, jiayin and jieying??
much to accomplish by tomorrow.

anyway congratulations to seah for PASSING HER DRIVING!! yay. car trips in the future!
and congratulations to william for getting in SISPEC! i don't know anything about it but it does sound like a place where the pro people go to, so it's good enough!

i watched the Phantom of the Opera movie last sunday and i can't believe i actually CRIED. i used up a piece of tissue okay, and i'll have you know that i usually do not use up tissues even when i watch sad movies. man, that show made me so damn sad, and the funny thing is i don't think anyone else who have watched would have found it sad at all.

weird. -shrugs-. so i better don't watch the musical. think i'll just embarrass myself.

and post exam plans are looking good! i have 2 seasons of Prison Break, 1 season of Heroes, about 3 seasons of The Drew Carey Show and 2 seasons of whoseline waiting for me! wohoo! oh yes work? erm. i have no idea yet :)

right. your Hunk of the Day: orlando bloom!

just about impossible to find a bad photo of this pretty boy. and he looks even better on screen. ooh can't wait to watch Pirates 3 in may! :)

i've never quite appreciated my other project groups until i came across the Project Group from Hell for you-know-which-module. so here i'd just like to proclaim loudly that i HEART MY FM AND IT GROUPS! :)

okay so FM doesn't really count since we don't have projects, but the people in my group are all great! and IT just rocks because i get to be the social loafer being the only girl in a group of IT-savvy guys. oh YES there is hope for my IT!

actually i have got nothing much to say, just that i wasted a perfectly good day when i could have achieved much in my mounting workload. arse.

when you don't heed the Good Advice of a Good Friend, you have no one to blame but yourself, you Brainless Arse.

i always take comfort in the fact that after tonight, it would be a new day tomorrow(well obviously) and things that seemed kinda sucky would be insignificant tomorrow.

and you know how they always say, listen to your elders 'cos they know best? bloody hell just listen to them lar!

right. i'm now currently at Suntec Starbucks trying to salvage the report.
things are going relatively okay. i think my thunderstorm face has finally been put to good use and the guy was quiet and apologetic and i could sense nervous vibes. very good, now we're getting somewhere :)

sorry for the use of profanity in the previous entries. i've never quite cussed so much before, and my poor Good Friend was subjected to the uncensored version. -grimaces-
sorry seah for abandoning you! and thanks to Good Friend for his report as reference :)

like what i tell everybody

i must have used up all the luck in getting great project group members last semester.
not only do i have two absolute crap excuses for even moderate group mates, the work they produce is also the absolute pits. when i compare the work they've done with the work that other people have produced, i feel like weeping. and even if i want to change anything i can't because it's already the last f*cking day and i cant do it all by myself.
you would think that they could at least offer to meet up to clarfiy stuff. but NO. didn't even bother to spend the effort to come up with a lameass excuse.
and what really, really gets me is how one of them just doesn't want to reply smses or on msn. for pete's sake if you're not there just put your bloody status to OFFLINE LA!!
yeah seriously. it's as though the 15% for the test isn't enough to kill me. now another 15% is gone.

i'm sorry you have to hear this all over again. one more day and i will complain no more.

omg i feel like knocking my head against the wall now.

yes i finally had my day of Doing Absolutely Nothing but watching clips on youtube and surfing aimlessly. was supposed to go out for spot of mugging with mol but i woke up with a splitting headache, so i popped some panadol and went back to sleep. sorry mol!! next week okay? :)

anyway as you know, me being the ultimate kaypoh i am, like to blog surf. and one of the blogs that i always read (because the guy is just so funny. i like people who blog funny, not those who type incomprehensibly in a mish mash of chinese and bad english, adding LOR, LAR and CHUI every other sentence), this guy has a Babe of the Day post er, everyday. (hahaha seah would know who i'm talking about!) so i thought, why not i have a Hunk of the Day post too? since you know, i'm already so boliao.

right. so today's Hunk of the Day

the delectable Johnny Depp!

my. even with the crazy eyeliner and hair, there's still no mistaking the killer cheekbones and pretty eyes. not to mention that he's hilarious as Captain Jack and so completely unorthodox in his choice of movies

to one of my friends: i know you're giving the person the benefit of the doubt, and that's fair. but if that person continues to make you so unhappy so often, maybe you would want to reconsider certain things? why would you want to be at the receiving end of such behavior? i'm not judging of course, since i don't even know that person, but it's seriously unpleasant to see you being hurt so many times!

i should never ever deprive myself of retail therapy for a long time
because that would only culminate in a frenzy shopping trip that would leave my ATM very much emptier and my heart in pain. it's a happy kind of pain though; kinda self-contradictory.

and i've also reached the epitome of obssesiveness heehee.
let's just put it in the context of WuZun shall we? (haha yeah. for easy understanding la)

on a scale of 1 (i know who he is but that's about all i care) to 10 (i've Googled him, i've bought all his cds, dvds, downloaded all his songs, watched all the dramas he's been in, even the crappy ones, read his blog religiously, bought every single magazine that has featured him... ... ...)
i did a TEN today too.
i never should have wandered into PageOne. :(

skipped IT seminar today because i woke up feeling like i was going to puke. felt a little guilty because that would mean that i've officially skipped every single lecture and tutorial at least once. -shrugs- OH WELL.
but i did go back for comm management which would probably shock many people.
i actually like comm management lessons, sans the presentations of course. i like how everybody is all relaxed during the class, and we're all just talking to the tutor as though we're having a chit-chat session. we all just seem to be having fun, and yeah. the people are actually nice and NORMAL (unlike that of another class i don't wish to mention)

had dinner at Soup Spoon with mol, ah yin and jieying! oh. the loveliest soup i've ever had, i might add. and after that it was just lazy strolling around Raffles City with our yummy fruit smoothies. i love aimless dinners with my com dears! :D and it was such a nice break from school shit.

of course. now that i'm back at home in front of the computer, i'm once again annoyed by blithering idiots. just a couple days more and i would no longer need to tolerate such bullshitting people.
oh which reminds me of something funny
Mr Blockhead told me he had nobody to sit with during class on wednesday (i skipped both tutorials to catch up with all the work i had neglected) so i asked him why did he not sit with Miss Tactless, and he went:
"don't want lah. she's very irritating"
HAHAHAHA. this coming from a guy who usually don't see the bad side of people, i find it extremely hilarious :) and man, she must have been irritating enough for him to actually say it.

i cannot wait for the stupid report to be over and done with.

i cannot believe i'm actually correcting the basics of basic grammatical errors and WHO THE F SPELLS BREADTALK AS BREAKTALK?!?!
and that's FIVE OF THEM IN A PAGE.
and i have a very dreadful feeling that somebody has copied some parts wholesale. i've already re-edited one entire part because Mr Blockhead just about copied and pasted his part.
and Miss Tactless was asking such brainless questions that i nearly cried when i saw my handphone. oh my tian ah. saaaaaaaave meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Good Friend just told me today that his friend's entire OB report got a BIG FAT ZERO because ONE SENTENCE was copied straight from the net.
i think at this rate we're just about headed in the same direction.

haha. i seriously have no faith in these people, don't i?

sia lar. they got give me reason to meh. (i'm also, of course, outrageously biased as well. i'm sorry)

and because they irritated me so badly, i went to getty images and cheered myself up tremendously.
HAHAHA. hey fair lah. people put pictures of WuZun and i-forgot-the-other-cute-dude's name pictures on their blog also what.

HAHAH I AM SIAO. (-waves hi to main culprit william koh-)

Good Friend, looking at soccernet.com, "hey come look at the Scottish Premier League table!"
me: "what has that got to do with me??"
Good Friend: "since you're so obssessed with all things Scottish........"
me: dots.

oh ya i just reckoned that seah and Good Friend can be Best Friends
they're equally lame but thankfully seah knows to 适可而止 while Good Friend still needs abit more of eye-rolling and exclaimations of "that's not funny!" before he stops.
hahahha.
okay la, they're both so nice to me so i don't mind :)

(but stupid seah just got me all excited about the post exams celebrations that my FM tutorial was neglected)

here's the current (but still ongoing) list:

1. go to the Zoo (hahaha)

2. go to Sentosa

3. kbox (default i suppose)

4. go to Snow City (i think that's what it's called??)

5. Escape Themepark. (nobody goes there anymore. so no more queues)

6. cookie baking at lyd's lovely house/movie watching

7. SLEEP. oh yes.

8. mind cafe outings with shuxian and belinda (haha yes shuxian we have no other place to go to!!)

9. PUBBING. (walawala and the likes. balaclava perhaps? jiayin's favourite haha)

10. CLUBBING. don't look funny at me. we planned a VJCO outing there -guffaws- (oh which reminds me.

with jiayin and kes before dhsco concert
me: "... ... let's go to a pub or something after the concert la"
kes: "NO. i am not going to support your drinking habit"
me: "?!!?!?"

wa lau. what drinking habit! seah can beg to differ on my behalf because she knows that if i drink what she drinks i would most probably faint)

okay great. it's 2.45am and i have 4hours more of sleep.
as always, i blame the report.

because i'm tired and the weather is bloody sweltering outside, i'm just gonna type this in point form.

1. i feel like skipping comm management tmr to go shopping.
2. yes once again my shopping plans were postponed. since tuesday.
3. i really cannot stand certain people. actually it's just one - Miss Tactless.
4. and can i just say that my accounting report is so completely and utterly screwed?

aye that's all i have.
aiya i'm just feeling pek chek for no particular reason.

Lily Allen - Littlest things
Sometimes I find myself sittin' back and reminiscing
Especially when I have to watch other people kissin'
And I remember when you started callin' me your miss's
All the play fightin', all the flirtatious disses
I'd tell you sad stories about my childhood
I dont know why I trusted you but I knew that I could
We'd spend the whole weekend lying in our own dirt
I was just so happy in your boxers and your t-shirt

Chorus
Dreams, Dreams
Of when we had just started things
Dreams of you and me
It seems, It seems
That I can't shake those memories
I wonder if you have the same dreams too.
The littlest things that take me there
I know it sounds lame but its so true
I know its not right, but it seems unfair
That things are reminding me of you
Sometimes I wish we could just pretend
Even if only for one weekend
So come on,
Tell me
Is this the end?

Drinkin' tea in bed
Watching DVD's
When I discovered all your dirty girly magazines
You'd take me out shopping and all we'd buy is trailers
As if we ever needed anything to entertain us
the first time that you introduced me to your friends
and you could tell that I was nervous, so you held my hand
when I was feeling down, you made that face you do
there's no one in the world that could replace you

Chorus
Dreams, Dreams
Of when we had just started things
Dreams of me and you
It seems, It seems
That I can't shake those memories
I wonder if you feel the same way too
The littlest things that take me there
I know it sounds lame but its so true
I know its not right, but it seems unfair
That things reminding me of you
Sometimes I wish we could just pretend
Even if only for one weekend
So come on,
Tell me
Is this the end?

i can never get sick of this song. (yes i know music playing in the background can be annoying. but i'll remove it once i tire of the song. -deadpans-)

oh god i dearly need a long nap and a day where i do absolutely nothing. no tutorials, no work, no reports. NOTHING.
accounting test was funny. i went in feeling all relaxed because i knew it would be a cold day in hell before anything would be balanced. and in the end, obviously the balance sheet turned out to be rather unbalanced. massively unbalanced in fact. HAHA.
i have always thought accounting was still relatively doable. that was of course, before it started getting really complicated and becoming a total pain in the arse. yes i agree with you shuxian, why do we business students have to endure rubbish like this?! i don't care two hoots about accounting, just like the accounting students hate marketing! :( we should only be allowed to take modules that are actually related to business!
oh we are all so screwed for Accounting II.

after the test, went with jiayi to donate blood.

the last time i did that was back in JC1
i feel like a Nice Person :)
but now i'm feeling a little oozy, so i'll go for a nap.

ooh. nice! :)

Miss Tactless was unbelievable today man. she skipped the accounting test 'cos she didn't finish studying, and asked somebody to get the BLOODY TEST PAPER FOR HER!!

altogether now:

Birthday Celebrations!
accounting is such an awful pain in the neck that i thought i'd come here and blog to destress. yes i find blogging therapeutic haha.

birthday celebration it was for the march babies jiayin and mj! a short lunch at tampines's Cafe Cartel because jiayin had to leave early.
anyway, the main highlight was their matching presents, which are thanks to yuexin's devious mind. HAHA :) i think the presents are absolutely adorable though. aye, we're already so used to making fun of the two of you, so it's only natural that we'd get something like this. can keep for future use la hor :P
this picture is blurred but i like it because two of them are laughing so happily! (aiyo mj and his ahpek specs)
pretty paperbags!
hahah so cute!
HAHAHAHA :D
sk who showed up to meet jiayin for huangcheng.
after lunch mj fetched jiayin and sk for the concert while i tagged along with mj who wanted to go to marina square because i didnt want to go home (knowing that accounting was waiting for me, and knowing that if i had gone home, i would either be sleeping or using my computer for non-school-related purposes HA)

the traffic in the city area during the weekends is just horrifying. poor mj had to go to the toilet desperately but the cars were practically crawling along, and made mj very irritated, especially when he got horned by many people hahahaha.

so nice to be driven around by friends!

and while we got out of the car at the Esplanade carpark, i had a sudden realization that WE ARE REALLY GETTING OLD, because i was suddenly struck with the thought that, i've never been anywhere in a car, to a carpark, without my parents, or my dad at least! (oh you know what i mean, i don't know how to put it in a better way) it just makes you realise that "oh my, i'm doing something that my parents would do." and then you start feeling old.

well anyway we only went to MS for a short while and then it was back home. i still spent a grand total of about 2 hours on mj's car though. hahaha

and once again, i cannot wait for this week to pass. once tuesday is over, we can all heave a sigh of relief and then i'm going SHOPPING before i drag myself back to the damned accounting report. and then it's back to good ol' plain doing tutorials.

what a crazy week. three tests and two presentations. well the important thing now is that it's over and i shall have a breather before starting on the major accounting test next week!

both accounting and IT quiz went well, but FM was a complete heartbreak, despite the mere 3 days of studying. i firmly stand by the view that there's nothing wrong with my concepts (for the first time in a long long while i actually UNDERSTAND something that involves MATHS. and a CALCULATOR.) and instead i blame the stupid tutor who refused to give us the formula sheet and the arse of a guy who was MUTTERING LOUDLY THROUGHOUT THE TEST two seats from me. and who actually did a little punch of victory when he submitted his answers online and saw that it was all correct. i wanted to throw my keyboard at him. (okay, he's a nice fellow actually, sans the muttering)fine, and i was extremely careless as well.
well, the surprising thing is that i still don't hate FM. there's really nothing quite like Stats to remind you that every other maths-related module is just much better. anyway, i shall KICK FM's ASS!
both presentations were good. got the thumbs-up from our very cool and funny IT tutor (even though i don't quite understand why. maybe he loved the fact that we didn't exceed the time limit heh heh) and comm management would have been great if you take away the way-too-many-slides presentation and the fact that i exceeded the time limit by about 2minutes. (oh that's so going to cost me) the very odd thing is that i was actually feeling GOOD standing in front of the class and jabbering on in that 7 minutes. MARKETING HERE I COME! :D

oh sorry. that was a rather long passage about school.
sorry, i tend to ramble on a little more than people would care when i'm feeling highly relieved having that bloody heavy burden of tests and presentations off my back.

oh yeah shuxian! i saw your marketing friend Mr Blockhead's girlfriend! haha she looks soooooooooo young and cute lah. i felt like an old woman next to her! seriously she looks like she can pass off as a Sec 3 student.

ah screw tutorials. i'm going off for a nap now. i've only slept a total of 12 hours in the past 3 days, and my mind is reeling from exhaustion.

i had a sudden craving for chicken pie today and dad bought it for me from Don - Your Personal Pie Club :) absolutely YUMMILICIOUS i tell you. try it if you happen to be in the vicinity, which would be kinda hard since it's only available at Far East Square.

sidenote: STUPID MOLLIE! put down phone on me lar! next time don't call me to complain okay! -grumbles-

oh yeah. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIAYIN! (she's so lucky, she got to spend it at home!)

Honestly Speaking

The littlest things that take me there
I know it sounds lame but it's so true
I know its not right, but it seems unfair
That things are reminding me of you
Sometimes I wish we could just pretend
Even if only for one weekend
So come on,
Tell me
Is this the end?

you can spend years building up the perfect image, repairing your self-esteem and finally feeling that you're indeed good enough. until you see him again, and he exposes all your insecurities and blows apart your image. and once again you're back to your insignificant 16-year-old self

and then you wonder. who is anybody to make you feel less worthy of yourself? of all people, THIS ONE? (cue snort of laughter). let's count the reasons shall we? he's not exactly good looking (despite being charismatic, i'd give credit), he's not nice (let's face it) and he's not funny either (and i've seen not funny. i hang around Good Friend don't i? HAHA JOKING.) and most importantly, he makes me feel like crap. (to quote many people, a "jackass") seems like a pretty clear choice doesn't it

all the lingering feelings or whatever? that's just the younger and immature self talking. the 16 year old person who is too damn stupid to know any better and puts him on a pedestal.

i don't need to be stuck in this rut, and i will not be.

lovely day isn't it everybody? weather's fantastic. i just wished i don't actually have to study FM.

A Little Plain Speaking
a conversation

(almost in tears of exasperation) "i am really sick of it you know. and not only am i sick of it, i don't even want to talk about it anymore because i'm sick of making other people sick of me and my endless nonsense ... ..."
mol: "you know what, i really don't understand why you'd like a scumbag like him?" (HAHA. you said it! i didn't!)
"i can just tell you very honestly now that he'd never like you okay. you should just get over it"
(wah lau. brutually honest)
"okay. really not helping my ego here!"
mol: "what! it's a good thing. it means you're not that loose kind of girl okay!"

HAHA. funny.

oh well. there are three of us who would probably wake up tomorrow, recall what happened, and feel like going back to sleep for the rest of the year. Miss S + Mr M, my dears. hang in there okay.
and thanks to Good Friend for some good ol' brotherly advice. Good Friend indeed! i've heard it all, but wont hurt to hear it again hahaha.
oh and even Mr BlockHead came to offer his sympathies.. haha how nice, although i was most unwilling to tell him anything, knowing that he would probably lose the plot in the first 5 mins.

have a good night.

oh and this year's dhsco concert was a disappointment. i have nothing more to say.

Born Romantic (i love craig!)
i've got the crappiest group mates for a certain project man.
WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS??
i really don't want to get my overall grade pulled down because of these people.

anyway finally had a day off from schoolwork today. nice kbox session + movie with my NBS girls :) caught The Pursuit of Happyness which was such a sweet and lighthearted movie. i can see why will smith got nominated for an Oscar for best actor. it was such a refreshing change from all his usual comedies. thumbs up!
and it was sooooooo good to be away from all the rubbish waiting for me at home. both yx and jiayin asked me why i was so stressed about work lately. yes i know. very unlike my usual self hahaha.
but i just have too damn many things to do, and the thing is i GET DISTRACTED VERY EASILY! i tell you why i can spend one whole day on a proposal: i type two sentences, i watch two videos on youtube.
that and due to the Good influence from Good Friend who does things at an amazing rate and then have tons of time to slack and play xbox (or whatever it is)
this is why i should have less Accountancy friends and more biz friends haha.

on second thought..

nah. that's what happened to that crappy project group.

anyway! got a dvd for myself and william and i'm very happy now :D
why? what's the one thing that both of us absolutely LOVE? hee hee.
shall enjoy the movie after the exams. so right now i'd have to hide the dvd.
