can't quite believe next week would be the last week of school of Year One, and i'm on my way to Year Two in just a few months more. and of course next week's lecture would be the last one i'd be having with all my accountancy friends!!! -wails- okay this is saddening, don't want to think about that right now.

the comm management tutor's insistence on formal wear (and strictly stripes only!) had me on a shopping trip on wednesday to zara at vivocity. lovely material, but there was a severe lack of choice (or maybe i'm just looking at the "for you cheapskates for can't bear to spend more than 75 bucks for a formal shirt" rack.)and after that i hopped over to esprit wanting to get a nice pair of jeans using the 50dollar voucher.
ok basically i ended up paying cash for the jeans because it was already reduced from 70 to 50 and i was too embarrassed to reject it. BLARH. whatever really, 'cos in the end i got a nice top and nice pair of socks using the voucher. hahaha.
oh and there was the cutest and most helpful male assistant at esprit who was most probably, and most unfortunately, gay. how cute? oh seah! he's got "SEAH'S TYPE" written all over him. heehee :) no seriously, bears a striking resemblence to a certain person whom you shouldnt, BY RIGHT, be talking to right now heh.
oh and on the way home, i bumped into funny ol' wesley who was on his way to dhsco's syf rehearsal. okay la, i'm having the occasional bouts of guilt about not seeming to care about it. aye, but i know no juniors and juniors from my own section are just very likely to piss me off badly should i go back. oh yeah, and i have absolutely no flair at trying to teach people. -shrugs- oh well. i guess, the bottomline is: i just cannot be bothered anymore. the last time i went back i didn't know a single junior and i felt like such a damn intruder (and certain people MOST certainly did not help by their behavior)that it pretty much turned me off from going back.

we had a lab session on Skype today during IT, and man, it was the MOST HILARIOUS lesson we ever had. the group of us at the left section of the room, the section i reckoned the tutor has already earmarked for being always talking during his lessons, nearly died laughing using the conference call functions. and later it got even funnier when the guys (typical!) tried to call girls from China and Taiwan. they managed to get through to one in China and Mr BlockHead actually managed to SPEAK to one from Taiwan.

oh my god, my sides nearly split, i tell you.

yay. half of my IT group! Good Friend derek and the very cool shanjing :)

as for comm management's final presentation (oh FINALLY), there was a severe SEVERE lack of time which had me literally rambling incoherently for 4 minutes. i swear i have no recollection what the hell i was talking about, just that i was trying desperately to sound confident, stand still and look happy. okay, the tutor did give an A in the end, but not without first giving the whole "i'm actually reluctant to give you the A, but.. ohhh... okay" tone. heh, i don't care either. :)

comm's tablemates :)
