you should have seen me yesterday.
there was only one way to describe the feeling in my legs

EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL

i think there's no way to explain that, except that at that particular moment, you'd have wished that your legs were cut off instead.

okay lah, thanks to the whole day of lolling around the house doing nothing, the pain has thank god! subsided.

so how did i end up having to go through this torture?
well let's just say that i had to climb up a particular hill up to the students services centre at ntu.
for what?
wellllll.. let's also just say that i've finally realised the full extent of my living-in-my-own-world-ness. must thank the com girls for saving my arse and my money.

anyway. the centre, for some reason is located at the highest peak at ntu, and to reach the top, you either take the shortcut through the biz school (which of course, i would only find out after i've climbed to the top) or climb up the stairs all the way.
huizhi calls it "stairway to heaven"
very appropriately named, because when i reached the top i thought i was dead.
trust me, you'd have preferred running 2.4 than climb those damned stairs!

right. and combine that with a full day of shopping and strolling around on a pair of uncomfortable pumps, taking into account i haven't had vigorous exercise since, oh last year's NAPFA, and there you have it. completely conked out legs.

on to more pleasant things,
thursday night was dinner with some of the com girls, and most coincidentally, all of us are going to NBS! very good :)
friday was shopping + dinner with the study group girls. oh am i looking forward to the Weekly General Meetings haha!

oh and my hair is no longer the ah-lian brown it was. it's "copper shimmer" now, if you please!
(eh and why did no one tell me it was ah lian before i changed the colour??)

which reminds me of the time when i had this hair colour, and my colleague, an ah lian, albeit a high class one, told me that the colour was lian.
i just thought of a great retort i should have said

"i don't care what the pots call me"

when it doesn't rain, it doesn't.
when it does, it pours

or whatever.

well anyway, what i'm trying to say is.

IT WAS A BAD LUCK DAY MAN!

right, so i was supposed to go for (urgh!) cco practice this morning at nine
i was late, so i had to take a cab.
uncle took the wrong route, cab fare to dunman ended up 8bucks.
never mind
okay so jiayin and i had only one song to play, in the end TTK decided NOT to go through that one and only one song
meaning that we could go off at ten plus and which also means i got up 7am for nothing.
right, it's ok, i'm supposed to meet ah mol after practice anyway. so it's just a matter of lunch at an earlier time.
(okay, summary)
we set off for hong kong cafe at katong.
we took 12
got off at the wrong bus stop, ending up having to work for two more.
(keeping in mind it was friggin' hot!!)
we reached there, only to realise that that cafe only opens at 6pm.

how nice.

well whatever, lunch at cafe cartel went okay.
it was just a matter of enduring mol's complains about what else? army life.
HAHA. i'm just kidding, you know i love to hear about it right?
-deadpans-

"OMG this is soooo sinful!" says ah mol.
"okay mollieeee" -indulgent smile-

mollie comes up with the most disgusting pose he can think of.

oh and that is the shirt which i believe only me and lyd would be willing to fork out 35bucks for :)

and today i watched what i believe must be one of the funniest episodes in The Simpsons.

bart: (after finding out his family replaced him with a robot) "dad! i cant believe you would replace me with that robot!"

homer: "replace? that's a nasty word! i just upgraded you, that's all"

"what do you think his motive is inviting us here?"

"hmmmmmmmmm.......... ULTERIOR!"

when you find out what's a typical day in my everyday life, you'd understand why
I JUMP AT EVERY SINGLE OPPORTUNITY TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!

10am: i wake up

10am-2pm: i play some brain-cells-killing game. no, not that it's so intellectually stimulating, quite the opposite. it's so stupid and dumb, i think i've become stupid over the months.
(sometime ago, mollie told me this:
mol: "HAHA. this person said he/she eating dumplings during mid-autumn festival leh!"
me: "what the hell is wrong with that?"
mol: "......... it's duan wu jie la. we eat mooncakes during mid-autumn festival. -___________-"
me: "oops.")

2pm: depending on whether my sister wants to fight with me for the computer or not, i'd either continue playing the game, or i'd go sleep :(

5pm-7pm: i watch whatever there is on tv. or i'd watch FRIENDS!

7pm-1am: it varies. but ultimately it revolves around watching more tv, reading more (outdated) magazines, playing more computer games.

you see lah.

yesterday was ktv-ing with my fellow future ntu coursemates jiayin, yuexin and huizhi
(and yeah, it's friggin' cheap for a three-hour session at this little place at katong shopping centre! FOUR BUCKS EACH CAN! no drinks or whatever, but who cares. oh and the mikes are better)
thereafter we had a loooong gossip session, which oh yeah, involved what we're going to do in uni -winks-

jeez. i'm no good at reporting daily activities.

mollie: "eh, stop blogging weirdly"
seah: "your blog pollutes my english man" -evil cackle-

wa lau, like that right, what am i supposed to type :(

okay, let me tell you about the msn conversation couple of days ago with jiayin then.

we were talking about our upcoming com outing, and how hard it is to organise one that will include the guys due to their erratic schedules.

me: "blah blah blah somebody is one day book in one day book out cant remember who blah blah OMG MY EYE CANDY MSGED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
-stars hyperventilating and calms down for two seconds-
me: "oh sorry. excited awhile"
jy: (no doubt staring with amusement at her screen): "haha it's ok. healthy to have such excitement once in a while." (YES DO I AGREE)
me: "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
jy: "what? why?"
me: "no lah, he said HI HI!" (complete with blinking animations okay?? so annoying when other people do it, but so endearing when it's him! hoho!)

ahem. right, anyway. it was cute and short. he said hi, asked me how's life, told me he's playing some computer game, and bye!
at least, i think that's what he said. too many grammar errors and blinking animations. :(

okay is this still weird blogging eh, mol??

actually, i'm angry. very very angry.
I AM PISSED OFF! (enough emphasis??)

you used me, bastard.

ok, no name-calling. i have to accumulate good karma before i go university -smirks-

my sundays are effectively ALL GONE.
(please be thankful that i'm typing this on monday instead of saturday where i first received the news.)
WHAT NEWS?
oh nothing much. just that i have to go for CCO PRACTICES FOR THE NEXT THREE SUNDAY MORNINGS FOR ONE STUPID CONCERT
so may i ask what's the bloody point of NOT SIGNING THE FORM WHICH INDICATES THAT I AM SO NOT INTERESTED IN THIS ANYMORE?

i am calm. relatively speaking of course.

so i had to wake up at 730. ON A SUNDAY MORNING.
WHO WAKES UP AT 730 ON SUNDAYS I ASK YOU?

why am i so against this?
oh how about the fact that there are only TWO zhengs, and we're right under TTK's nose, and he likes nothing more than to pick on silly mistakes WHICH CANT EVEN BE HEARD in the grand scheme of things?
and of course, i've had enough bad memories from the concert two years ago.

anyway jiayin and i had no choice.

and as luck would have it, what should happen next?

WAH. 见鬼了!

-glowers-

now, who should it be other than the TWO PEOPLE THAT I MOST FEEL LIKE WHACKING EVERYTIME I SEE THEM?

i spent the entire practice having an eye sore.

i think i can stop now.
lets talk about saturday, where we celebrated william's birthday.

in summary, we watched Re-Cycle, which left a big question mark over our heads, save for william, who, for some reason managed to grasp the whole warped theory behind the movie, and explained it to us.
william then insisted on going to catch a glimpse of the singapore idol wannabes
william: "i want to see what jasmine looks like in real person!"
"see what see. go look at the year book can already what"
william: "cannot. i put my yearbook in the locker, somebody came and cleared my locker :("
"...."
never mind. since he was so enthusiastic, i had him taking photos of them for me while the rest of us tried to pretend that we weren't there. :)

circled is the reason why i'm still watching singapore idol. HAHA.

kidding.

william is a questionable photographer.

i give up trying to resize this.

cake time!

"wa lau. how old already. cannot pose properly ah?"

william: "oh okok."

ok better.

william: "OMG. GOT PRESENT FOR ME??"
URGHH CANNOT OPEN!

it's a musicbox, in the shape of a beer barrel. BECAUSE WILLIAM IS AN ALCOHOLIC! :)

hmm since i'm at it, why not post my work photos too?

wani and michelle, the nicest people :)

we're laughing because.. WHY ARE WE TAKING PHOTOS IN FRONT OF THE CARGO LIFT?!

oh sorry. killer headache. gotta run.

right.
this is a post to correct seah's misconception about what johnny depp looks like (and hence, i believe, leading to her reluctance to watch Pirates. HAHA)

no, johnny depp does not look like this.

neither does he look like this

johnny: "yeah! i bloody well do not look like this faggot!"

in actual fact, he looks like this

aint he good looking?

LET'S GO WATCH PIRATES TODAY!! :)

anyway let me tell you something

my friend's brother has a girlfriend.
his girlfriend, of course, is just another pretty face on the road.
ah ah, but what people don't know is that

a certain local male singer likes her too!

hmmm. who's this male singer you ask?

bahh. so easy. just list 5 local male singers and i can bet you he is within the 5 you've just listed.

and of course do keep in mind my limited knowledge of chinese singers. :)

very funny i tell you. my friend's brother liked this singer initially, but after finding out that the singer likes his girlfriend, he wanted to burn all his cds.

heh. no lah kidding.

which begs the question, would you rather date a famous but ugly singer, or a goodlooking nobody?

forgive the lack of posts.
i've been watching way too much Friends for my own good.

BUT!
while i'm at it, i've discovered this.

(now, don't go NOT AGAIN. i told you i was bored. and anyway he appears in Friends Season 7. bored, remember! bored!)

ahem. anyway. WHOA. GORGEOUS MALE SPECIMEN!

oh speaking of which, may i just say that i've never seen a more perfect face than that of brandon routh's?

scary i tell you.

well as how they put it aptly in Friends.

"so pretty it hurts!"

i'm just passing time til the world cup finals starts. :)

looks like all the teams i'm supporting are already out (namely spain, brazil and czech republic. SIAN LEH)
it's going to be a european world cup finals after all :(

but never mind, i am very much appeased by the fact that england is going home as well.
wayne rooney is such a bulldog.

anyway i am still lazy to go upload my photos.
(sometimes i think my laziness go straight to my bones. when there's no motivation, you can be darn sure that i'd be spending zero effort to accomplish something, or rather, nothing.)

oh. my eye candy has added me on msn. HA!

-smirks-

oh lemme tell you what we did yesterday.
first it was kbox with jingying lyd and the vs guys.
after which we realised that we had absolutely nothing to do, so we went to do this

we are all big kids lah. 18 and 19 we are all not. :)
