it's the last day of my holidays :(

but i have to say, this is by far one of the most enjoyable holidays i've ever had. i slacked to my fullest potential (i stayed home for one entire week doing absolutely nothing but watching my favouritest shows in the whole wide world, eating, sleeping and reading.), had many meet-ups with many many good friends, splurged on clothes, good food and kbox (the 3 weeks worth of saving during the exam period came in handy!). well basically, it was GOOD. and i'm happy, but not happy enough to want to go back to school.

and today i had the traditional meetup with seah before school reopened where we whine and sulk in the comfort of starbucks.
(okay lah the previous sem i also whined and sulked two days before school reopened because i had blardy CCO performance on the next day and i was just dreading school)
saw some people -waves- (it was funny because i did the 'i can see you, you can't see me' call to my friend then later in the evening my colleague did the same thing to me -_-)

oh! anyway i must paste this paragraph from some guy's blog that seah found.

speaking of duets, which means guy and gal. first thing which comes to your mind is BF and GF. relationships, love, blah blah..

and my gang is really getting abit cranky lately becoz we've been single for too long. why? i can't think of any excuses. we're all friendly people, average-looking (im actually tempted to say handsome) and the nicest lot of boys you can find in yishun.

we're sick of finding each other for movies, sick of spending saturdays playing winning 11, sick of planning what to do.

obviously, we're sick of one another. of coz, we're great buddies but you know, a balance has to be struck somewhere.

(eh in case this guy actually reads this here (not bloody likely though) i'd just like to say that your blog is very funny and sorry for copying that entire bit)

HAHA. it's funny because that's what me and seah like to complain about! (okay lah, i'm not sick of my friends, though) and it's just hilarious when you find that guys are actually lamenting about the same things too.
(right. before we start to sound desperate, i'd just like to clarify that we usually complain about the fact that some weirdass people are actually attached and we're not. heh heh. where's the fairness in this world)

and during that cookie baking session the other day, we were watching this jean yip slimming show on tv where this particular contestant had terrible stretchmarks, which prompted jieying to tell us about how next time after we give birth we must get our husbands to press against your hips to prevent it from being wide (or something along these lines. hahaha). to which seah sulkily (hahahaha. ok i just added that for the effect) that "but first we must get boyfriends you know... like you"
hahaha. that was funny. jieying was momentarily rendered loss of words. :P

i should really get off this topic. we could go on for ages.

and can i just say that there's seriously something very wrong with the school's admin system.
what's the point in telling the biz students that they're only allowed 18AUs and any overloading would require appealing when you allocate them electives in the end anyway?
and then nobody tells us anything about when the tutorials are actually starting. really doesn't help when the course outline is also ambiguous.
and then no email telling us when results were coming out either.
man. i want to work in the admin department next time. no need plan timetable, no need do course outline, just send random emails every couple of days :)

anyway here's the picture from that day's disastrous outing. this picture was taken under extremely embarrassing circumstances because we were blocking the entire pathway and people were standing there waiting for the guy to be done helping us take the picture.

okay lah. at least i managed to get 8 people for that couple of hours :(
