to go or not to go?
my sis got into the Dunman Integrated program.
so if she chooses to stay on, she wld basically be spending the nxt 4yrs in dhs.
well she's asking me if she shld really stay on.
wellll..
pros of staying on:
1. privilege as being the pioneer batch of DIP students
2. it's just as good as going to VIP, without having to leave the sch
3. same old good friends
4. familiar environment
on the flip side...
1. lack of interaction with ppl from other schs. how would you learn to work with them then?
2. the Dunman sch spirit.. or lack thereof.
3. imagine the no-freedom life..... long skirt no ankle socks no sling bags etc etc
4. wld they have lectures n tutorials? or they're still using the classroom-style teaching?
5. can you really stand being in the same sch for 6 yrs??
6. where to get the experience of going thru orientations? learning crazy mass dances? going down for match supports? none of this is exactly going to happen at dhs.

think my stand's pretty clear. but still, it's her decision.
if it had been me.. i guess i wld have stayed on. especially if all my friends are staying on.

to quote from jiayun's blog:
"if u tink i dont really lk u very much, chances r ur quite rite..."
i've got something else to add.
"if i dont like you now, chances r i never will"
how true is that!
some people you meet. you just cant click, no matter how hard you try.
i can think of some names from the top of my head straight away.
if i dont like you, i can be quite obvious abt it too
then again. i'm a fabulous liar. :)
usually i show my dislike for certain ppl quite blatantly
unless i have to work with those ppl. then i wld try to suppress those feelings of dislike.
isnt that how it's gonna be in the future anyway?
but if i really hate you, rest assured you wld know
i guess this ability to hide feelings so well is pretty useful
especially when it's for the exact opposite.

New and a bit alarming
Who'd have ever thought that this could be?
True that he's no Prince Charming
But there's something in him that I simply didn't see
