wonderful, now i've reached the point where i have internal conversations in my head.

anyway yesterday during dinner, we were talking about some of the concerts that we've been to before, and what are some of the people that we would pay good money to watch perform. i can't believe that in my whole life i've only been to ONE concert. i probably waxed lyrical about wanting to go for more but every single time i didnt have the moolah to fork over.

oh yeah the one and only concert that i've been to was Simple Plan's. and i wasn't even a fan. i went because jamie had cheap tickets (50 bucks!! free standing!! meaning as close to the stage as you dared to squeeze!) and i quite liked their songs (hey, it was circa 2004 after all. i was 17) so i went along. and i can say i didn't regret a single second because the concert was kick awesome! i mean, it may have seemed kick awesome because i was 17 and emo-rock songs were all the rage back then.

so today i was thinking to myself, since now im working and all and would PROBABLY have the money to spend on frivolous stuff like that, what are some of the concerts i would pay good money to, and what are some concerts i would not touch with a ten-foot pole? this is a good mid-afternoon ponder while i try to stay awake from after-lunch effects.

1. any taiwanese boyband (i can give leeway to farenheit. see next category for explanation) for example: BANG BANG TANG (those damn lollipop boys. can't type chinese on mac. cant be arsed to google for their names)

2. singers such as cyndi wang, jocie guo, any other act cute doe-eyed petite singer with no discerning talent whatsoever except for pouting and singing in their high pitched piercing voices. they make me want to kick little kittens and puppies.

3. what's that boring local singer's name? she's so boring and forgettable i have forgotten her name. this is a clear sign. well anyway even though i can't remember her name i remember enough to know she irritates the shit out of me even though she has done nothing wrong and i am sure she's a lovely girl with a lovely voice but she's is just so FRIGGIN' BLAND i want to whack something. maybe throw some glitter at her so at least she looks interesting. GAH I AM RAMBLING 'COS OF HER EPIC BORINGNESS.

4. LADY GAGA. I DONT KNOW WHY I HATE HER SO MUCH BUT I JUST DO. SHE IS UGLY AND GIMMICKY AND I SAY IF YOU WANT TO BE GIMMICKY AND BE OVER THE TOP, YOU HAD BETTER BE TALENTED BECAUSE WHEN PEOPLE GET TIRED OF YOU, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FALL BACK ON. poker face should be banned from radio and clubs, forever.

5. JJ lin: don't ask me why, but i dislike him with a passion. i can't explain it. something about his face and his voice.

1. farenheit: because (1) as much as i hate to admit it, they are good looking. and (2) i can tell people that i've seen hot guys in person and maybe (3) post pictures of them on their fansites and make them piss themselves in complete jealousy. because if there's nothing funnier than boyband fans, it's boyband fans going crazy with jealousy. man i love seeing those taiwan boyband fan clubs. there's seriously nothing funnier than ah lian tweens screaming and crying and running after tour buses.

1. jay chou: not a fan, but i like his songs and he is cool. pseudo cool? don't care. his concerts should be very entertaining

2. stefanie sun: ditto.

3. luo zhi xiang. very cute and can dance.

4. maroon 5: 'cos i like their songs.

5. pussycat dolls: i know they can't sing but going to their concerts will be like going clubbing!

6. black eyed peas: ditto. one big massive party. woohoo!

7. raymond lam: i can't believe he's in this category either! but he's all ballad-ly and while i heart that.. it's just not motivational enough for me to want to spend more on his concerts (if he ever comes here that is)

sidenote: yesterday seah told me that raymond lam was coming to singapore on sat, and instead of immediately calling people to force them to go with me to see him like i previously had, i had a very "meh" reaction and made no such plans. OH WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME! and i didn't even know that his third album came out. HAHAHAHA.

1. david tao: because he's damn talented and you've got to admit that. even though he's not very good looking. sometimes it's not about the looks alright?? (haha ok who am i kidding)

2. wang li hong: 'cos he's just as talented as david tao with the added bonus of being hot. what's not to like??

3. britney spears. I LOVE HER CIRCUS ALBUM. HAHA. and her concerts look like so much fun!

4. linkin park: oh what happened. you used to be IWILLDIETOWATCH. now you've been relegated to NOTEVENFRONTROWSEATS. in the past, every single time they come to singapore, i've complained endlessly that i have no money to go for their concerts and bemoaned my sad fate that i could not watch my favouritest band perform. well right now, i don't even care enough to buy their latest albums, but i'll definitely pay good money to watch chester bennington scream his lungs out in person. and i still can remember the lyrics of every single song to their 1st two albums okay!

5. backstreet boys, if they ever decide to make a comeback: DONT JUDGE ME! i'm a child of the 90s. and i friggin' loved the BSB!

6. david cook: i dunno man. there's just something about him that makes me want to watch him even though i've only heard like three of his songs. haha.

1. christina aguilera: because she's the most amazing female singer EVER.
