saw this in New Paper a couple of days back and i JUST have to blog about it

can you recognise him/her??

hahaha i swear the first thought that came to my mind when i saw this was: "who's this woman and why is she dressed like a man" and then i saw the article headline:

"HOT FAVOURITE SYLVESTER OUT" (out of the Million Stars or something show, apparently)

bwahahhahahaha. sly, oh sly. where did it all go wrong? i'm not even going to talk about you getting kicked out of the show, because you know there's a huge problem when diya in the background looks more like a man than you. and doll, most men cannot carry off eyeliner, and you are certainly not one of those who can. no, not even with you rocker-wannabe persona, or whatever look you're trying to go for these days.

and you know this just gives me an excuse to do this

i CANNOT believe this guy was runner up for Singapore Idol and was actually one of the hot favourites to beat Taufik. (no wonder i voted 5 times for taufik) it just echos every single thing wrong with that show. however that said, i am highly anticipating the airing of the show because i can't wait to see how much singaporeans can't sing english songs.

anyway we saw this guy at timbre yesterday and we just had to take a picture of him to show jo.

HAHAH. eh jo i know you probably wont end up looking like him since you love to exercise and all, but here's just a reminder of what you could look like if you don't! (joking lah hor)

and yes that guy was with this whole group of other middle aged office aunties and uncles and they have got to be the MOST IRRITATING BUNCH OF PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. at first glance, they look like any other group of office workers out for a chillout session at timbre, but IT WAS A SHAM. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF OBNOXIOUS OVERAGED CHAO AH BENGS AND CHAO AH LIANS WHO THINK THAT THEY ARE AT A CANTONESE PUB OR PERHAPS AN AH BENG WEDDING DINNER OF SOME SORT WITH THEIR ENDLESS SHOUTING AND YELLING AND GOADING OF EACH OTHER TO DRINK THEIR (possibly tiger) BEER. AND THEY WERE DOING IT ALL THROUGH THE BAND'S SET. wtf. if you cannot control the inner beng/lian that you try so hard to suppress with your pseudo expensive shirts and ohiamsohighclass LV bags, then shut the hell up and go over to places that cater to people your kind like Lunar or Dragonfly and stop disturbing the shit out of everyone else who wants to listen to the band sing. YEAH THEY MAY NOT BE GREAT BUT NOBODY WANTS TO LISTEN TO YOU ALL PLAYING 10-15 OR WHATEVER IT IS THE ENTIRE NIGHT.

yesterday was also the monthly company BBQ. the food was really good and all but me and kailing got sick of the heat after awhile (it was at the rooftop of the building) and so we kop-ed food and went back to the office to bitch about people. HAHA

i like the lobby with all its lights on

the evil and rich karen seah with her gorgeous new LV bag which she bought during lunch one day -_- hahaha.

it was only when we were talking about yuexin's upcoming birthday plans when i realised that it's been a month plus since my birthday and HAHA I COMPLETELY FORGOT TO BLOG ABOUT IT (and that's a mean feat considering how i like to document every single thing fervently. europe post coming right up) this just goes to show that once you're over 21, your birthday no longer means a shit. it's all "okay i'm 22, moving along.." nevertheless, i do have to thank all my friends who kept me very busy that two weeks with all the dinners and outings after work and also the presents! especially the one from mol + leed which mol took the pains to give it to my office receptionist and pretended to not have a clue about. THANKS DEARS, I FEEL THE LOVE, EVEN FROM JAPAN! :) also to wil+fai+ber for drinks&dinner at timbre + geylang supper outing! so glad that fai was back in singapore! jttw always, for the surprise cake, and of course the usual gang for the birthday dinner on the actual day itself. yay you all rock :) (and this is really overdue)
