We Are The Champions!
after a TOTALLY thrilling 2hr soccer match against SAJC we have pulled through 4-1!! yes. championships n we still scored 4! can u imagine how good our strikers are??
whoa. this is the 1st time i have experienced such PURe RaW EmoTion, frm the THOUsAnDS of screaming students. everytime a goal is scored frm our side, the sudden surge of PURE adrenaline n happiness juz bursts in you! everybody no longer cares abt their image or watever.. everyone's screaming cheering hugging. whOAaa this is definitely once in a lifetime experience.. i'm so glad i caught this match! We RULE man.. n VJC juz rocks! sajc played an ok game.. but we were obviously dominating throughout. 1st goal in 5 mins! it was scored when the striker (some realli SEH guy!!)managed to break thru the defence n onli had to beat the goalkeeper. COOL. after tt until the 2nd half we had many chances but failed to capitalise on it. 2nd half, sajc soon scored the equaliser thru a freekick/corner?? i forgot. but suddenly the vj side was silenced n we had an omnimous feeling of dread. haha but as always, vj nv fails to live up to expectations! 2nd goal quickly scored barely after the sajc side scored! this was damn hilarious, cuz after sa scored, they were running arnd the stadium with their sch flag, then suddenly we were on top again n 5 of our flag bearers were running in the opposite direction. muz have been so malu for them HahAHa. 3rd goal if i nv forget wrongly, was scored by kengyang, this guy frm dhs! yes, dhs has its soccer talents too. so proud! it was juz in the box. cant realli remember how it was scored, but it was more or less wat secured the championships for us. 4th goal was the MOST COOL. corner? ball fell outside the group of players, one of our players struck it HARD into the back of the net. *SWoOp*. it was like those international goals.. like one of roberto carlos's freekick. damn seh. after tt all the soccer players were hugging n cheering alreadi.. cuz it's juz not possible for sa to score another 3 goals in 5mins.. no matter how strong their fighting spirit is. but i have to hand it to the sa team. they didnt give up till the last min, n were still attacking until the final whistle. well sad to say our defence was juz too strong for them :D when the final whistle was blown. WoHOO! our side erupted with cheers n screams. all of us were like so HIGH! like mr chew once said: "drunk on teen spirit" or sth liddat. my throat's aching like mad n i'm still a little giddy frm all tt crazy atmosphere..
