okay i am probably the most outdated person, but i JUST discovered the awesome-ness that is Muse. (yes! finally! minyan is talking about some other awesome singer!) how awesome? well to put things into perspective, they are the first to get me off the playlist that i have been listening to for the past 4 months i shit you not.

i developed somewhat of a habit of snooping around the playlists of other people in the company on itunes, looking for songs i've always heard people talk about, or even just the songs that i've heard the covers of but not the original. and that's when i discovered Muse.

okay so apparently they have been around for ages AND people have apparently heard of them even here in Singapore (i've only read about them in comments of people from the States, UK etc) so obviously i am just so damn outdated. well i hardly think class95 plays their music and i havent listened to 987 since secondary school so..

anyway i've got this haunting song stuck in my head right now. it's really good. and if you know me, you'd know that i dont say that often

the boss said today that the speech that i wrote for the client's MD for this particular event was "too high brow for the kids to understand" and yeah it may seem passive-aggressive if you really want to scrutinize it but i don't care man I WILL TAKE IT AS A COMPLIMENT THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
