ENTRY FRM THIS MORN BUT STUPID BLOG HANGED(LUCKILY I SAVED THE BLOG)
going to VCH in another hr or so.guess this will be the last time i'll be performing with DHSCO..after this perhaps i'll be part of the organising committee alreadi.sigh.guess i can b counted as veri lucky.out of my 4 yrs in CO..i have performed three times, starting frm sec2.ppl usually onli get to perform frm sec3 onwards..some onli getting their chance in sec4.yep.shld b thankful this is the 4th time i'm performing.haha.though this time i wont be seen at all..will be blocked by all the cellos n basses.
feeling a little nolstagic now..relieving all the times going to VCh with CO.haha tt place was almost my 2nd home during those 4 yrs.can go there up to 3-4 times a yr..n not including rehearsals.sec2:dhsco performance.zheng performance.sec3:other than the usual performances..still got MEP concert..yep not to mention the dozen of rehearsals.haha.gd memories of the place.come to think of it..REALLI gd memories.esp in sec3.*sigh*.last yr concert seems so recent.still remember every yr..i wld look forward to this day..all the rehearsals in sch wld b damn tiring.but i nv realli minded.early in the morning..the sch wld b noisy n bustling..ppl running arnd.carrying all their instruments to load to tt lorry (can recognise tt uncle alreadi la!)for the zheng n djy ppl..most jialat cuz many many heavy instruments to carry.all the guys frm the other instrumental grps wld den help to carry the instrus.haha.still rem the bian1 zhong1.always need to seperate the parts den can carry it to the lorry (ttk nv fails to remind us it cost 20000 bucks).me.i wld usually avoid carrying anything more than my own zheng (haha)..but last yr couldnt cuz was the zuzhang (muz set gd example see?ha)was running arnd going mad..counting the zhengs..making sure the no. of zheng jia4s was correct..finding the toolbox..bringing the blazers n files..oh yea n making sure tt my "AP" jrs were not creating havoc lo.haha.after reaching VCH..it was yet another round of instrument-carrying..the lift wld usually be jammed by all the drums basses n cellos..so the poor zheng ppl wld usually juz attempt to lug their zhengs up tt long flight of steps frm the back door.haha.the backstage was usually divided so tt the diff grps got diff corners to rest.we wld usually b right outside the backstage..tt long long passage way where it wld b littered with our bags instruments n the TBY instruments too.xianyue wld b at the backstage..with the sofa n the vending machine haha.cello n bass at the other side of us.guanyue somewhere near xianyue n cello.djy scattered arnd.after lunch (always n always chicken rice)wld be the full dress rehearsals.whereby the slightest mistake wld b yelled at by TTK(haha..oh well).the chairperson n vice wld usually b getting veri anxious by this time.while the dazu is having rehearsal..the zheng ppl usually juz hang out at their corner n chit chat (always the time for bonding)or play stupid games.onli me n jiayin (poor souls) have to go for dazu n was always frustrated by having to arrange whose zheng to use n how to exchange during the performance..haha.after rehearsals wld be tea time(cant believe cheap bread can taste so gd) n the time to pei2 yang3 qing3 xu4.yea i'm sure.cuz no one ever takes this time seriously..always stand arnd the entrance to the concert hall to wait for the ppl to arrive for the 4.30pm concert.frm den on..time wld fly n soon both the 4.30pm n 7.00pm concerts wld b over.no matter how tired..n how late..(usually end arnd 10 plus)we still had to move ALL the instruments back to dhs..by this time my feet wld b to the pt of breaking (black heels lor.)n i wld be damn irritated cuz of the heat(long sleeve white shirt sigh.).but after it was all over..the sense of loss wld set in.it's all over.especially last yr..when i thought it was the last time i wld ever perform with co again.oh but then again..there wld b the half-day off the next day to look forward to!sigh.this yr wont have liao..but den again we no need to move the instrus back to sch.haha.guess it wld b more relaxing this yr.nothing much for me to do or care.juz need to slack arnd n wait for my turn to perform.
shucks.i'm running late cuz of all the stuff i typed.haha.can the yr1s pull of the performance after onli 2 rehearsals??(lousy shld i say)guess we can lor.dhsco.best in singapore.no matter how TTK complains n nags n says we are deproving..we always manage to pull through.
well.gtg.have to bring tutorials to go there n do.lagging like siao man.no half day somemore.haha.
