i realised that everytime monday passes and Markstrat is settled, my mood improves drastically.

some people are still unbelievable though. -shakes head-

anyway CNY! well, your usual rounds of visiting and angbao collecting :) i'm quite the antisocial when it comes to visiting the relatives though; i'd bring my laptop along, curl into my aunt's outrageously comfy leather sofa and watch movies on my laptop for the rest of the night. heh. well for one, the kids are all kinda, yar, young haha, and i'm too lazy to barbeque the food myself.


so anyway that was basically 3 days of visiting. on the 4th day it was time for our very own reunion! sleepover at yuexin's ah ma's house!

hahah this photo was taken at around 1.30am. we were getting comfy for our horror movie! (poor mj got alot of flak for taking this photo. "pic slanted, too dark, blur" hahahaha)

before that was a round of Mahjong-ing (four of them) while the rest of us went gossiping in yuexin's room. super odd combination but i still thought it was a pretty nice conversation! after that we started on one of the horror movies on seah's dvd (Stay Alive. yes i watched it before but the effect is still there when you switch off all the lights in the room, alright??) where we started screaming even before the movie started because the damn Ju-On face appeared on the menu screen!

right anyway. i insisted on being surrounded by people, (well, low threshold for horror movies and everything) but mj, being the nice person he was, reached over from the other end of the mattress and poked my head and i nearly screamed in fright. -.-

the movie ended around 330am and we decided, for the good of our hearts, we wouldnt continue with the rest of the shows and went back to MJ-ing until dawn broke.

we then went home, and i concussed til evening time. and woke up ABSOLUTELY loathing mondays :(
