why do people you love want to hurt you? why do friends put you down just to make themselves feel better? Is that how you realize who your true friends are?

makes you think, doesn't it.
i don't know if i'm hypersensitive all of a sudden, but why is it that suddenly, there seems to be more and more of these people around?

sometimes, some people may feel very taken for granted.
insensitive comments and remarks, while it may seem like nothing to you, may actually hurt the person which the comments are aimed at.
you may mean no harm, but sometimes you do need to spare a thought for other people. JUST BECAUSE you wouldn't be bothered by the same actions and comments, DOES NOT mean that other people would not. and similarly, this DOES NOT mean that other people are hypersensitive emotional people; it may very well mean you've been pushing it a little too damn far.

and it seems like more and more i'm reluctant to sought the company of some people. inconsiderate, self-centered people who behave like the whole damn universe revolves around them, acting like everyone should just oblige their every whim and fancy, placate their every whine and tantrum.
years of friendship does not equate to a free pass To Do And Say Whatever I Damn Well Please.

you make me sick sometimes, and very disappointed.
you love to preach and reprimand. you like to pick at non-existent issues. you even accused me of being self-centered. pot calling the kettle black eh? that is why when you start throwing one of your hissy fits again i just roll my eyes and ignore you until you come to your senses. you do, and then the whole cycle repeats itself. over, over and over again. OVER, OVER, endlessly.

i'm definitely not somebody who cannot stand that little bit of poking fun among friends. in fact i choose to think that every friendship requires a healthy dose of that.
but when you cross the line that separates the friendly jesting from (un)intentional rudeness, it's not difficult to start causing a rift, and eventually resentment and irritation. sooner or later, the hurt party will give up on you.

and just because you are a good friend, does not mean you have the right to treat me according to the changing of your mood. if you're unhappy, talk. don't bloody behave like a three-year-old and expect me to act accordingly to your PMS-ing. i'm here to listen, and if there's anything you're unhappy with about me, you tell me, and i will change if i see your point. you do not throw tantrums every couple of days and then act like nothing has happened after that. i'm not your bloody boyfriend/girlfriend

and most of all, don't give the lousy reason of "oh, because i treat you as a true friend, that's why i'm behaving this way". let me illustrate to you why not in very simple terms; just imagine how you'd feel if i acted exactly the same way how you behaved to me. let's see how long you can tolerate too ya?

some people are insecure. it sometimes makes them feel better about themselves by putting others down. they need to feel like they are in control and have power. there are alot of reasons, but true friends shouldnt ever put you down or try and make you feel bad about yourself

i just want to stay home tomorrow. i don't feel like going anywhere.
i'm not angry at anyone.
i'm just very very very disappointed.
