FUGLY.
okay i take that back. fugly doesn't even begin to describe the level of ridiculousness of these clothes. it's so bad that it makes you wonder if the designers came up with these clothes as a joke to see how many idiots would actually buy it, or maybe they were experimenting with the avant-garde look and then failing spectacularly. it's so bad that only people going to costume parties, or circus clowns, would buy them.
it's definitely so bad that each piece of clothing only served to make me, yuexin and huizhi laugh so hard that we nearly cried. i didn't manage to take pictures of the incriminating evidence because our hysterical laughter attracted the attention of the sales assistant and she came over to tell us that the clothes were 60% off, which of course only caused us to laugh even harder.
BUT! i did manage to take pictures of their equally disgusting shoes. this is no longer a fashion faux pas. this is a spectacular fashion disaster.
oh my god the garish colours make me want to PUKE. MY EYES!!! and they must be out of their minds to think that people would actually pay 30 plus bucks for something that should be condemed to the Hell of Terrible Fashion.
so besides the Encounter with Fugly Clothes, the rest of the day was a pleasant one with us strolling around MS, having dinner at the MS food court, which was literally dinner by the bay (lovely place!) and then finally with 50% off dessert at Cafe Cartel together with stories about ridiculous relatives. haha. we should do this more often! :)
